ANNUAL REPORT 2015 Grants for Growth Grants funded a wide array of summer activities for our youth, as well as a wide variety of exercise equipment for the school. Among other things, grants also allowed us to provide energy upgrades in the gym, in the Woodbourne School and in Tivoli (our administrative building). Our Community Partners Helping Youth Through Service Towson University Brings the BIG EVENT Back to Woodbourne Center For the second year in a row, Woodbourne partnered with students from Towson University, who volunteered their time with our students. In April, we welcomed almost 30 students for their Big Event volunteer fundraising mission. Students participated in a carwash, basketball and arts and crafts. Incoming freshmen and transfer students from Towson visited campus in August, as part of their Project SERVE community service campaign. Students helped Woodbourne residents landscape a trail behind the school, and joined them in playing table games, kickball, and basketball. Towson University volunteers came to Woodbourne Center twice in 2015: in April for their BIG EVENT fundraising mission, and in August as part of the Project Serve campaign. 16
